Gilded Cotton

Cotton bolls, leaves, stems, soybeans, and even a cotton seed on the right side are captured in textured plaster, softened with my signature Delta blue watercolor wash. Mounted on a 12 × 12-inch canvas with a distressed gold-leaf finish, this botanical piece celebrates the quiet beauty of the Mississippi Delta.

Easel not included; shown for display only. Shown here with the beautiful McCarty Pottery angel - display only.
